ABOUT STEVEN LANDIS .... AKA DR. ZZAPP
Steven has been performing for many years as a puppeteer, ventriloquist, magician and comedian.
Steven has always been a very creative person even from a very early age.
Steven did his first puppet show while in the first grade. Then while in the thrid grade steven started to learn ventriloquism.
It was during his fourth grade year that he won an award for his puppet creation for the library class production of Billy Goats gruff.
Steven continued to study and learn everything he could on the art of puppetry, ventriloquism and some magic.
But it was not untill his college years that he actually started to perform shows and programs.
Durring his college years at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Mo. that steven really began to travel and perform shows.
Steven Traveled with the campus Athletess For Christ group doing some magic but mostly ventriloquism.
After college steven continued working with improving His magical learning and abilites but still kept them as a hobby.
Steven did do some shows for parties and retail stores like Wal-Mart.
Then in 1997 Steven won the best comedy act award at a talent contest in Oklahoma City.
Steven continued working at doing all kinds of shows for church groups, parties, retail promotions,fairs and more!
It was around in 1997 that steve first came up with the ideas for Dr. Zzapp.
It was this concept that then gave way for a open door to appear on the local television show The Mysterious lab of Dr Fear a few years later. Where steven played a chilkdrens show celebrity as Dr Zzapp.
Today dr. Zzap has become a wacky fun filled Mad scientist, with loads of suprises.
Today steven is still pushing the envelope on ventriloquism taking the art to places No one has ever attempted to go before.
